About Cary D’hondt
Cary graduated with a master’s in occupational therapy from the University of Limerick where she gained experience working with children and adults of all ages in community mental and physical health settings. Cary has a passion for person centred care and supporting people to use their strengths to build on areas they wish to improve.
Experience
As a graduate Cary moved to the UK to gain further experience in Occupational Therapy across multiple acute physical and mental health settings for three years. Cary worked with people with many diagnoses and conditions including stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s, psychosis, depression, anxiety, fractures, autism, and learning disabilities. Cary has worked in both acute and rehabilitation wards where there was a large focus on recovery from ill health and injury.
Outside of work Cary enjoys playing sport including GAA, she also enjoys cooking, baking, and gardening.
